On Thursday, November 2nd, SFMTA, Public Works, and Planning Department staff presented the conceptual streetscape design for Powell Street at an outdoor open house in the parklet outside of JiNS. We had great conversations with many folks who live and/or work in the Union Square area, and beyond. Through those conversations and a paper questionnaire, we received valuable feedback on the conceptual design proposal that will inform the team as we move into detailed design next year.
If you didn't have the opportunity to speak with project staff and provide your feedback at the open house - or did join us, but didn't fill out a survey - we encourage you to fill out an online version of the survey to have your voice heard. Before doing so, please review the following materials describing the conceptual design available on the project website:
- Plan and section views
- Perspective views and streetscape amenities
- Online survey: http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/3976043/Powell-Nov17-Survey
You can also catch up on the stakeholder meetings held over summer 2017 that led the team to arrive at this conceptual design by visiting the project website and viewing the materials under the 'Documents and Reports' header.
