Van Ness Avenue Construction Forecast: April 2 - April 13, 2018

The following Van Ness Improvement Project construction forecast is subject to change. For more project details, please visit sfmta.com/vanness.

The night shift for construction is between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. During this time, neighbors are advised to anticipate construction-related noise and vibrations as crews work diligently to complete necessary night work.

Tentative Schedule:

Lombard to Greenwich: Monday, April 2, through Friday, April 6, and Monday, April 9, through Friday, April 13, crews are scheduled to pothole to confirm underground utilities for upcoming sewer work.

Night work is scheduled to occur on Monday, April 2 through Friday, April 6, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., when crews are expected to work on sewer main installation at the Greenwich intersection. Disruptive noise and vibration is expected during this time.

Filbert: Monday, April 2, and Tuesday, April 3, crews are schedule to work on sewer main installation at the intersection of Filbert.

Green to Vallejo: Monday, April 2, through Friday, April 6, crews are scheduled to work on sewer main installation.

Vallejo to Broadway: Monday, April 9, through Friday, April 13, crews are scheduled to work on sewer main installation.

Washington to Clay: Night work is scheduled Monday, April 2, and Tuesday, April 3, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., when crews are expected to work on the emergency firefighting water system. Intensive noise is expected.

Clay to Sacramento: Night work is scheduled Tuesday, April 3, through Friday, April 6, and Monday, April 9, through Thursday, April 12, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., when crews are expected to work on the emergency firefighting water system.

Sacramento to California: Night work is scheduled Wednesday, April 4 through Friday, April 6, and Monday, April 9, through Thursday, April 12, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., when crews are expected to work on the emergency firefighting water system.

Bush: Night work is scheduled Thursday, April 12, and Friday, April 13, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., when crews are expected to work on the emergency firefighting water system

Sutter to Post: Monday, April 2, through Friday, April 6, and Monday, April 9, through Friday, April 13, crews are scheduled to work on sewer main installation. Intensive noise and vibration is expected.

Night work is scheduled Monday, April 9, and Tuesday, April 10, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. at the intersection of Sutter, when crews are expected to pothole to confirm utilities for upcoming sewer work.

Geary to O'Farrell: Monday, April 2 through Wednesday, April 4, crews are scheduled to work on sewer main installation. Intensive noise and vibration is expected.

O'Farrell to Ellis: Wednesday, April 4, through Friday, April 6, and Monday, April 9, through Friday, April 13, crews are scheduled to work on sewer main installation at the intersection of Ellis. Intensive noise and vibration is expected. Monday, April 9, through Friday, April 13, crews are also scheduled to work on water main installation.

Eddy to Turk: Monday, April 2, Tuesday, April 3, Thursday, April 5, Friday, April 6, and Monday, April 9, through Friday, April 13, crews are scheduled to work on sewer main. Intense noise and vibration is expected. Thursday, April 5, Friday, April 6, and Monday, April 9, through Friday, April 13, crews also plan to pothole for upcoming work.

Night work is scheduled Monday, April 2, though Friday, April 6, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., when crews are scheduled to work on water main installation at the intersection of Eddy.

Turk to Golden Gate: Monday, April 2, and Tuesday, April 3, crews are scheduled to work on sewer main installation at the intersection of Turk. Intensive noise and vibration is expected. Monday, April 2, through Friday, April 6, crews are also scheduled to install a joint utility trench at the intersection of Golden Gate and pothole for upcoming work.

Golden Gate to McAllister: Monday, April 2, through Friday, April 6, crews are scheduled to work on a joint utility trench at the intersection of Golden Gate.

Monday, April 2, through Friday, April 6, and Monday, April 9, through Friday, April 13,crews are scheduled for sewer installation at the intersection of McAllister. Intensive noise and vibration is expected Monday, April 9, through Friday, April 13. Monday, April 9, and Tuesday, April 10, crews are scheduled to work on water main installation at the intersection of McAllister. Monday, April 9, through Friday, April 13, crews are also scheduled installing a joint utility trench at the intersection of McAllister.
