Video series offers details about construction on Van Ness

The Van Ness Improvement Project, a major overhaul of Van Ness Avenue between Lombard and Mission streets, includes a suite of utility replacements, safety enhancements, and transportation upgrades including San Francisco's first Bus Rapid Transit system. To help you better understand the project and its three-year construction schedule, we've put together a series of three short videos.

The first video, The Van Ness Improvement Project, provides a short overview of the project. It's an introduction for those who may want to know more about the project and what the street will look like once construction is complete.

The second video, Keeping Van Ness Moving, focuses on getting around on Van Ness during construction. Businesses will be open on Van Ness during construction, but you can expect traffic and parking changes while work moves down the corridor.

The third video, Deconstructing Construction on Van Ness, dives deeper into the project's construction. It details what work is included in each phase and shows how work will progress over the next three years.

This series of videos offers a brief overview of what you can expect on Van Ness until construction is complete in 2019. We're working hard to make Van Ness a safer, more vibrant street everyone can enjoy.
