22nd Street Caltrain Area Parking Management

The section of the Potrero Hill neighborhood surrounding 22nd Street Caltrain station has an eclectic mix of small businesses, major employers, and residences both old and new. Much of the curb space in this area is unregulated, making parking and loading difficult. SFMTA is looking at how to best manage the curb in the area, taking into account the needs of both current and future street users. This project will begin by examining the present conditions, including parking occupancy, arrival and departure times, and length of stay. This will inform options for ensuring parking availability for those who need it to access jobs, homes, and transit in the area. Once created, we will discuss our planned solutions with the community to finalize the proposal.
