FY 2019-2023 Capital Improvement Program

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) Fiscal Year 2019-2023 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) is a fiscally constrained program of projects that the SFMTA plans to implement over the next five years. The FY 2019-2023 CIP includes 266 projects for a total investment of $3.0 billion. These projects aim to improve the safety, reliability, equity, and efficiency of the transportation system for all San Francisco residents, workers and visitors. The CIP is a living document and projects are adjusted as needs change. Technical adjustments to the CIP are made on an ongoing basis.
