Post Incident Summaries - December 2017

 

Saturday, Decemeber 30

• From 4:14 to 5:17 a.m., the 24 Divisadero Owl Route was blocked at Castro and 15th streets in both directions by fire department activity. Bus shuttles supported route service.
• From 1:50 to 3:13 a.m., the southbound 91 Owl Route was routed around Bayshore Boulevard and Hester Avenue due to fire department activity.

Friday, December 29

• From 6:54 to 7:37 p.m., the 36 Teresita Route was delayed at Myra Way and Molimo Drive in both directions due to a disabled coach.
• From 10:36 to 11:49 a.m., the northbound Powell Cable Car lines were delayed at Powell and O Farrell streets due to a Muni involved collision.  Southbound Powell Hyde and Powell Mason cable cars switched back at Powell Street.  Bus shuttles supported service.

Thursday, December 28

• From 9:12 to 10:50 p.m., the Powell Mason and Powell Hyde Cable Car lines were delayed at Powell and Market streets due to a mechanical issue with the cable car turntable. All southbound cable cars switched back at Washington and Powell streets. Bus shuttles supported line service.

Wednesday, December 27

• From 9:43 to 10:38 p.m., the 28 19th Avenue Route was routed around 19th Avenue between Pacheco and Quintara streets in both directions due to a non Muni collision.
• From 8:14 to 8:54 a.m., the California Cable Car Line was down due to a cable issue. Bus shuttles provided line service.
• From 1:39 to 3:30 a.m., bus shuttles provided service on the 22 Fillmore and 24 Divisadero routes due to an overhead power issue near Castro and 15th streets.

Tuesday, December 26

• From 1:30 to 2:18 p.m., the southbound J Church Line was delayed at San Jose Avenue and Dolores Street due to a stalled train. Southbound J trains were switched back at Church and Day streets. Bus shuttles supported line service.
• From 11:34 a.m. to 1:01 p.m., the 5 Fulton, 5R Fulton Rapid, 21 Hayes and 33 Ashbury/18th Street routes were routed around Fulton and Stanyan streets in both directions due to fire department activity. A bus shuttle supported 33 route service.

Monday, December 25

• From 11:38 a.m. to 12:13 p.m., the southbound 14 Mission Route was routed around Mission and Amazon streets by fire department activity.

Sunday, December 24

• From 12:25 to 1:01 p.m., the California Cable Car Line was blocked in both directions at California and Stockton streets due to police activity. Bus shuttles provided line service.
• From 1:00 to 2:09 a.m., the 14 Mission and 49 Van Ness/Mission routes were routed around Mission and 24th streets in both directions due to police activity.

Saturday, December 23

• From 6:40 to 7:14 p.m., Muni Metro subway service was delayed at Embarcadero Station due to a system issue. Inbound subway service was switched back at Embarcadero Station. Select inbound M Ocean View, L Taraval, and K Ingleside trains were switched back at West Portal Station. The northbound N Judah and T Third lines were switched back on The Embarcadero at Harrison Street. The eastbound N Judah and northbound J Church lines were switched back at Duboce Avenue and Church Street. Bus shuttles supported metro service.
• From 2:37 to 3:08 p.m., the F Market and Wharves Line was blocked in both directions at Market and Eighth streets by fire department activity. Eastbound F streetcars switched back at Market and 11th streets. Southbound F streetcars switched back at Ferry Plaza.
• From 11:11 a.m. to 1:16 p.m., the southbound 8 Bayshore, 30 Stockton, 45 Union/Stockton, northbound 27 Bryant, and eastbound 31 Balboa routes were rerouted around Mason and Eddy streets due to fire department activity. 
• From 7:06 a.m. to 11:24 p.m., the eastbound 23 Monterey Route was routed around the area of Crescent Avenue and Prentiss Street due to a water main break.

Friday, December 22

• From 9:56 to 10:49 p.m., the southbound 24 Divisadero Route was routed around Bayshore Boulevard and Cortland Avenue due to a non Muni collision.

Thursday, December 21

• From 8:27 to 10:25 p.m., the 48 Quintara/24th Street Route was routed around 22nd and Indiana streets in both directions due to police activity.
• From 10:56 to 11:30 a.m., the eastbound 33 Ashbury/18th Street and northbound 14 Mission, 14R Mission Rapid and 49 Van Ness/Mission routes were routed around Mission and 18th streets due to a non Muni collision.

Wednesday, December 20

• From 9:33 p.m. to 12:22 a.m., Thursday, the 54 Felton Route was routed around Gevena Avenue and Naples Street in both directions due to a power outage.

Sunday, December 17

• From 6:36 to 7:27 p.m., the southbound M Ocean View Line was blocked at 19th Avenue and Junipero Serra Boulevard by a disabled auto on the trackway. Southbound M trains rerouted over the K Ingleside Line. Bus shuttles supported line service.
• From 5:15 to 7:05 a.m., police activity on Market Street between Third and Fifth streets blocked the F Market and Wharves Line, the 5 Fulton, 6 Haight/Parnassus, 21 Hayes, and 31 Balboa routes in both directions and the eastbound 38 Geary Route. Southbound F streetcars switched back at Ferry Plaza, northbound streetcars switched back at Market and 11th streets. Coaches were routed around the area.

Saturday, December 16

• From 2:07 to 2:40 p.m., the southbound M Ocean View LIne was blocked at 19th Avenue and Winston Drive due to a minor medical emergency.  Southbound trains were routed over the K Ingleside Line at St. Francis Circle.  Bus shuttles supported line service.
• From 12:44 to 2:58 p.m., the eastbound N Judah Line was delayed at Judah and 9th avenues by a down overhead wire.  Eastbound N trains switched back at Judah Street and 19 Avenue, westbound trains switched back at Carl Street and Hillway Avenue.  Bus shuttles supported line service.
• From 9:13 to 10:13 a.m., the 14 Mission, 14 Mission Rapid, 22 Fillmore, 33 Ashbury-18 Street, 49 Van Ness-Mission and 55-16th Street routes were rerouted around 16th Street between South Van Ness Avenue and Valencia Street in both directions due to SFPD activity.

Thursday, December 14

• From 9:22 to 11:00 p.m., the eastbound 33 Asbury-18th Street Route was routed around 18th and Mission streets due to SFPD activity.
• From 6:45 to 8:30 a.m., the westbound F Market and Wharves Line was delayed at Market and 7th streets by a stalled coach.  Southbound F streetcars switched back at the Ferry Terminal, eastbound streetcars switched back at Market and 11th streets.

Monday, December 11

• From 8:40 to 10:55 p.m., the F Market and Wharves Line was blocked in both directions due to a non Muni collision. Westbound F streetcars switched back at Market and 11th streets.

Sunday, December 10

• From 10:32 to 11:08 p.m., the eastbound N Judah Line was delayed at Judah Street and 28th Avenue by a stalled train. Bus shuttles supported line service.

Saturday, December 9

• From 5:50 to 9:13 p.m., the southbound 28 19th Avenue Route was routed around 19th Avenue and Ortega Street due to a non Muni collision.
• From 3:30 to 7:25 p.m., the northbound 22 Fillmore Route was routed around Chestnut and Fillmore streets due to downed overhead wire.

Friday, December 8

• From 4:25 to 4:58 p.m., the southbound J Church Line was blocked at San Jose Avenue and Randall Street by an automobile on the trackway.  Southbound J trains switched back at Church and Day streets.  Bus shuttles supported service.

Thursday, December 7

• From 11:00 to 11:32 p.m., the 9 San Bruno Route was routed around Santos Street and Brookdale Avenue in both directions due to police activity.
• From 4:18 to 5:00 p.m., the eastbound 33 Ashbury/18th Street Route was switched back at 17th and Kansas streets due to a non Muni collision at Potrero Avenue and 18th Street.
• From 3:21 to 4:25 p.m., the 24 Divisadero and 44 O'Shaughnessy routes were routed around Palou Avenue and Quint Street in both directions due to a gas leak.
• From 8:31 a.m to 12:22 p.m., the southbound K Ingleside Line was blocked at Ocean and Miramar avenues by a non Muni collision. K trains were routed over the M Ocean View Line in both directions. Bus shuttles provided K line service.

Wednesday, December 6

• From 2:05 to 3:37 p.m., due to a Muni involved collision at Market and Eighth streets, the eastbound 6 Haight\Parnassus, 7 Haight\Noriega, 9 San Bruno, 9R San Bruno Rapid, and 21 Hayes routes were routed around the area. The eastbound F Market and Wharves Line switched back at Market and 11th streets while southbound F streetcars switched back at the Ferry Building. 

Tuesday, December 5

• From 8:04 to 8:36 p.m., the F Market and Wharves Line was blocked at Market and Seventh streets by police activity in both directions. Southbound F streetcars switched back at the Ferry Building. Shuttles supported line service.
• From 6:43 to 7:25 p.m., the F Market and Wharves Line was delayed at 17th and Castro streets in both directions due to a stalled streetcar. Westbound F streetcars switched back at Market and 11th streets. Bus shuttles supported line service.

Monday, December 4

• From 3:20 to 4:10 p.m., the 23 Monterey Route was routed around Jerrold Avenue and Phelps Street in both directions due to a non Muni collision.

Sunday, December 3

• From 8:30 to 9:35 a.m., the westbound N Judah Line was delayed at Carl and Cole streets due to a train with an equipment issue. Westbound N trains switched back at Duboce Avenue and Fillmore Street. Eastbound N trains switched back at Carl Street and HIllway Avenue. Bus shuttles supported line service.
• From 6:48 to 7:21 a.m., the southbound F Market and Wharves Line was delayed at Beach and Jones streets due to a streetcar with a mechanical issue. Northbound F streetcars switched back at Pier 39.

Saturday, December 2

• From 11:35 to 12:05 a.m. Sunday, the northbound M Ocean View Line was blocked at 19th and Holloway avenues due to an auto on the track way.  Northbound M trains were sent over to the K Ingleside Line.  Bus shuttles supported line service.
• From 3:49 to 8:12 p.m., the Powell Mason Cable Car Line was down due to a cable issue.  Powell Mason cable cars were rerouted onto the Powell Hyde Cable Car Line. Bus shuttles provide Mason line service.
• From 6:11 to 6:57 a.m., the northbound N Judah, T Third, and F Market and Wharves lines were delayed on The Embarcadero at Folsom Street due to a stalled streetcar.

Friday, December 1

• From 6:55 to 7:28 p.m., the F Market and Wharves Line was blocked at Market and 8th streets in both directions due to police activity.  Eastbound streetcars switched back at Market and 11th streets.  Southbound streetcars switched back at the Ferry Terminal.
