Event Summary

District 1 will celebrate Lunar New Year with a market and parade on Saturday, February 7, 2026. The night market will run from 3 to 8:30 p.m. 

  • The first parade will take place from 3 to 4 p.m. 
  • Half-time show will take place from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
  • The night edition parade will take place from from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
  • Variety show will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Street Closures

Balboa Street between 35th and 39th avenues (including intersections) from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Parade Details

The parade will be low profile and will be contained within the footprint of the street closurses.
