Temporary, from start of service Monday until the end of service on Tuesday
Event Summary
Beginning with the start of service Monday, March 11, and lasting through the end of service on Tuesday, March 12, there will be multiple street closures in the Chinatown area. These street closures will also require Muni to substitute the California Cable Car with buses, switchback the Powell/Hyde and Powell/Mason lines north of Powell Street, and reroute the 1 California. Read below for details.
Street Closures
The following streets will be closed from 8 a.m. Monday until 8 p.m. Tuesday:
- California between Taylor & Stockton
- Sacramento between Taylor & Stockton
- Powell between California & Washington
