Fleet Week: October 7-9, 2022
Weekend events for the U.S. Navy Fleet Week begin Friday with a Parade of Ships at 11 a.m. and an Air Show on Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 12 noon to 4 p.m. Ships will be docked at various piers and are available for visits from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Muni will provide extra service along the northern and eastern waterfront. The F historic streetcars will switchback at Pier 39. Read below for more detailed information.
Muni Reroutes
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the F Market & Wharves historic streetcars will switchback--changing directions from inbound to outbound--at Pier 39. Board at The Embarcadero & Stockton.
On Saturday and Sunday, after 1 p.m., Powell/Mason and Powell/Hyde cable car service will be provided by bus shuttles.
Extra Muni Service
The F Market and Wharves Line, as well as the 28 19th Avenue and 49 Van Ness/Mission routes will have extra service as described in the table below:
