Event Summary
Hayes Street will be closed every Friday and Saturday for the remainder of this month for the Hayes Valley Shared Spaces event. During the street closure, Muni will reroute the 6 Hayes/Parnassus Route around the area. This event is expected to continue throughout the remainder of 2026, and this page will be updated monthly as needed to reflect future events.
Street Closure
- Hayes between Gough and Octavia
- Fridays from 4 to 10 p.m.
- Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Muni Service Changes
During the event hours, Muni will reroute the outbound 6 Hayes/Parnassus Route north onto Grove Street. The table below will provide additional information, including any missed stops and alternate stop locations.
