Event Summary

The annual San Francisco Marathon hosts a Family Run 5K on the Saturday before the marathon. Previously held within the Presidio, this year's event will take place along the northern waterfront and in the Fisherman's Wharf area, resulting in street closures and Muni service changes. Street Closures

The following streets will be closed to traffic from 7 to 10 a.m.:

  • Northbound The Embarcadero between Washington and Jefferson
  • Jefferson between The Embarcadero and Leavenworth
  • Leavenworth between Jefferson and Beach
  • Westbound Beach between Leavenworth and The Embarcadero
