Event Summary
As part of the 19th Avenue Paving and Rehabilitation project, Caltrans will be repaving the left and center lanes along southbound 19th Avenue between Lincoln Way and Sloat Boulevard from 7 a.m. Saturday, May 9, to 7 a.m. Monday, May 11. Parking along this stretch of 19th will be temporarily removed to facilitate the work and Muni service in the area will be affected.
Work Zone
The left and center lanes of southbound 19th Avenue between Sloat and Lincoln will be closed from 7 a.m. Saturday, May 9, to 7 a.m. Monday, May 11. The inside/right lane will remain open for public transit, emergency responders, and local access. Expect longer than normal travel times along southbound 19th Avenue. Be sure to give yourself extra travel time and consider using alternate street routes to get around the impacted area. Curbside street parking will be temporarily removed during the repaving work and driveway access along this stretch may be temporarily blocked while crews are working.
Muni Service Changes
During the southbound 19th Avenue repaving work, the 28, 48, 66, and 91 routes will have the service adjustments shown in the table below. The 7, 28R, 29, L-Owl, N-Owl, N Bus, L Taraval, and N Judah may experience minor delays through the affected area.
