The night shift for construction is scheduled between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. During this time, neighbors are advised to anticipate construction-related noise and vibrations as crews work diligently to complete necessary night work.

Tentative Schedule:

Lombard to Greenwich: Monday through Friday, August 13 through August 17, and Monday through Friday, August 20 through August 24, crews are scheduled to work on sewer installation.

Night work is scheduled Monday through Friday, August 20 through August 24, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., when crews are scheduled to work on sewer main installation. Disruptive noise is expected.

Greenwich to Filbert: Monday through Thursday, August 13 through August 16, crews are scheduled to pothole for upcoming work.

Filbert to Union: Monday through Thursday, August 13 through August 16, crews are scheduled to perform water work. Friday, August 17, and Monday through Thursday, August 20 through August 23, crews are scheduled to pothole for upcoming work.

Jackson to Washington: Monday through Wednesday, August 13 through August 15, and Friday, August 24, crews are scheduled to prepare the area for upcoming work.

Van Ness traffic lanes shifting on August 23

In the early hours of Thursday, August 23, traffic lanes on Van Ness Avenue, between Jackson and Sutter streets, will shift slightly in order to make room for construction. Drivers are advised to exercise extra caution when traveling on Van Ness.

New construction zones will be created and fencing is expected to be installed on the east side of these blocks between Thursday, August 23, and Saturday, August 25.
