The night shift for construction is scheduled between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. During this time, neighbors are advised to anticipate construction-related noise and vibrations as crews work diligently to complete necessary night work.

Tentative Schedule:

Lombard to Greenwich: Monday through Friday, August 27 through August 31, crews are scheduled to work on sewer installation.

Greenwich to Filbert: Monday through Thursday, August 27 through August 30, crews are scheduled to pothole for upcoming work.

Filbert to Union: Monday through Wednesday, August 20 through August 22, crews are scheduled to perform water work. Friday, August 31, crews are scheduled to pothole for upcoming work.

Jackson to Washington: Tuesday through Thursday, August 28 through August 30, crews are scheduled to work on permitted sidewalk tree removal. Friday, August 24, crews are scheduled to prepare the area for upcoming work.

Van Ness traffic lanes shifting on August 23

In the early hours of Thursday, August 23, traffic lanes on Van Ness Avenue, between Jackson and Sutter streets, will shift slightly in order to make room for construction. Drivers are advised to exercise extra caution when traveling on Van Ness.

New construction zones will be created and sidewalk fencing is expected to be installed on the east side of these blocks between Thursday, August 23, and Saturday, August 25.
