Van Ness Improvement Project Construction Forecast: December 25 - January 5, 2018

Tentative Schedule:
Monday, December 25: In observance of the holiday, no work is scheduled.
Tuesday December 26 through Thursday, December 29: Crews will be working on the joint trench to power overhead wires for buses from McAllister to Post.
Between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. crews will work to update the overhead support cables from Market to McAllister.
Monday, January 1: In observance of the holiday, no work is scheduled.
Tuesday January 2 through Thursday, January 5: Crews will be working on the joint trench to power overhead wires for buses from McAllister to Turk and overhead cables from McAllister to Post. Potholing to assess sub-sidewalk basements (see item below) will occur from Fell to Geary and from Sutter to Washington.
Between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. crews will work to update the overhead cables from McAllister to Post.
Basement Assessments
Before utility, roadway and sidewalk work begins, the Van Ness Improvement Project team is inspecting Van Ness Avenue basements that may extend below sidewalks.
