Muni’s Potrero Yard Modernization Project is replacing an obsolete, century-old bus yard at 2500 Mariposa Street with a modern, four-story bus maintenance and storage facility. Construction has now begun and will run through 2030. Construction is led by Webcor.
- Construction work hours are between 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Overnight work hours are between 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., Monday through Friday. Overnight work is anticipated to be intermittent. The next overnight work is scheduled to start in late September.
- Noise is expected during construction.
- Expect temporary lane shifts around the project site bounded by Mariposa, Bryant, 17th, and Hampshire streets. Signage and cones will clearly mark and section off work zones. People traveling are advised to use caution and look out for changing traffic patterns.
