Budget for Fiscal Years 2021/2022

Wednesday, March 18, 2020

On March 19th, 2020, we will be hosting an Online Open House to discuss our upcoming two-year budget (FY 2021 and 2022). We'll also be discussing the budget at our Board of Directors meetings on March 17th and April 7th, as well as holding an online-only conversation with Director Jeff Tumlin on April 2nd.

To provide your input at any time you can e-mail comments to sfmtabudget@sfmta.com or tweet them by mentioning the SFMTA’s Twitter handle, @sfmta_muni, and the hashtag #SFMTAbudget. You can also sign up for email updates about the budget meetings.

In addition to meetings we have been holding throughout the city with concerned stakeholders and neighborhood groups, all San Francisco residents have an opportunity to hear what is being proposed in the two-year budget and to ask SFMTA staff to discuss specific programs and projects through our online meetings and our website.

During online events SFMTA staff will be on hand to answer questions about our budget plans based on the revenues and resources we expect to have, as well as proposed changes on aspects like fares, fees, and spending for transportation improvements. Questions and comments submitted outside of these events will be recorded and responded to individually.
