Wednesday, April 8, 2015 - 6:00pm
Interested in transit and pedestrian safety improvements along 16th Street? Join us at an open house to learn more and share feedback!
Muni Forward is all about making it safer and easier to get around San Francisco. As part of this effort, we’re upgrading transit corridors throughout the city, including the 22 Fillmore. Proposed improvements on 16th Street between Church and 3rd streets are designed to reduce transit travel time by nearly 25%, and make the streets safer for all users of the corridor.

22 Fillmore Open House
April 8, 2015 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
International Studies Academy
655 De Haro Street, San Francisco, CA

Drop in at any time during the open house to learn more and share your feedback. Project experts will be on hand to share the details behind the proposal, including:
  • Establishing transit-only lanes*
  • Improving the pedestrian environment with new or wider sidewalks and streetscape amenities
  • Increasing safety for people riding bikes along the corridor, including creating a comfortable bicycle route on 17th Street
  • Introducing new traffic control and intersection changes to improve pedestrian, bike, and vehicular safety

*At this open house we're interested in gathering feedback on the transit-only lane proposal. Would you prefer side-running transit-only lanes, or center-running? Drop by the open house to tell us what you think, or take our project survey online
