Meet Corvin, a long-time Bay Area resident and Muni ride. Living with Usher syndrome, which causes progressive deaf blindness over time, shapes how he navigates the world. Today, he works as an accessible user experience specialist and helps companies make products more accessible.
Public transportation is a vital part of his daily routine. Muni takes him to Ocean Beach for workouts and to Aquatic Park Cove to swim. He is a four-time Ironman finisher and enjoys competitive endurance sports. Corvin reminds us that accessible features on public transit improve the rider experience for everyone.
Stories like Corvin’s are meant to start important conversations about accessibility. Join the conversation —comment below or tag us the #MuniMatters to keep the dialogue going.
