Muni Subway Service Alert

Due to continued power outages, Market Street Subway service disruptions continue. There is currently no subway service between Van Ness and Montgomery stations.

Muni Service Plan

Muni Metro service is currently operating on a hybrid train and bus service plan. If power has not been restored by the start of morning service Tuesday, December 23, this service plan will be in effect. If there are changes to the service plan, we'll provide updates.

Predictions for the N Judah and J Church lines are currently not available.

Line Service Description
N Judah and  J Church The N and J lines will be combined into one line. Trains will operate between Balboa Park Station and Judah & La Playa. Service will remain above ground only— trains will not in the subway. 
K Ingleside, L Taraval, and M Ocean View The K, L, and M trains will operate between Balboa Park and Church stations only.
Bus Shuttles Bus shuttles will provide service along Market Street between Castro and Steuart streets. Bus shuttles will run every 7 to 10 minutes.
Shuttle Train  A shuttle train will provide service between Embarcadero Station and Fourth & King streets. The shuttle train will run about every 10 minutes.
T Third Street Line The Central Subway is unaffected and T Line service is operating normally.
