Racial Equity Training

Racial equity training is a core component of SFMTA’s Phase One Racial Equity Action Plan (REAP). This is a commitment to creating a work environment that is responsive, equitable, and inclusive for all staff through ongoing skill development opportunities. In fiscal year 2023-2024, the Office of Racial Equity and Belonging will be increasing training availability to meet equity training requirements described in the Performance Plan and Appraisal Reports (PPAR).

As a reminder, a minimum of two (2) hours of equity training is required each fiscal year, and an additional two (2) hours of leadership equity training is required for all supervisors and managers. For more information on the Performance Plan and Appraisal Report (PPAR), please click here and review the Racial Equity section.
