About the Project: The Central Subway will extend the Muni Metro T Third Line along 4th Street and Stockton Street through SoMa, Union Square and Chinatown. When it opens, T Third Line trains will travel on the surface from 4th and King to 4th and Bryant, with a stop at 4th and Brannan. This important transit extension will cut travel times by more than half along this busy corridor.
