16th Street Improvement Project Construction Forecast June 27 - July 8, 2022

In the next two weeks, as part of the 16th Street Improvement Project, crews are scheduled to work on traffic improvements, overhead power installations, traffic signal wiring & hardware installation, light pole setting, sidewalk flatwork and related work at the following locations.

Those traveling on the corridor are advised to stay alert and allow more travel time during construction. A recommended alternative for people traveling by bike in the area is 17th Street, which has a dedicated bike lane. At times, bus stops along 16th Street and intersecting streets need to be relocated for construction needs. Signage directs riders to temporary stops.

The work listed below is scheduled for daytimes, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
