Bayview Community Shuttle - April Update
A new community shuttle is coming to Bayview-Hunters Point in January of 2024 and we need your voice to design it! The SFMTA is partnering with the California Air Resources Board and nine community-based organizations to deliver a dynamic service community shuttle that is comfortable, welcoming, and effective for the people living in Bayview-Hunters Point today.
We’re looking for your participation as we decide where and when the shuttle will run, and what factors will make you likely to use it.
How can I get involved?
You can get involved in the following ways:
- Sign up for our mailing list
- Take our shuttle service planning survey
- Attend an upcoming shuttle outreach event
- Attend a Community Congress meeting – details on the project website
- Contact us directly by emailing BayviewShuttle@SFMTA.com
The shuttle will operate in a “service area,” connecting you to hard-to-reach destinations like community centers, regional transit or grocery stores.
This program also includes job training, a 3rd St. storefront for transit information and services and a Community Congress for local oversight. You can learn more by reading our Fact Sheet.
