The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) which operates Muni, is seeking public comment on draft Title VI policies used to evaluate impacts of our major service changes and fare changes. The Policies establishes thresholds to determine when impacts of major service changes and fare changes adversely affect minority and low income populations.

SFMTA developed these draft Policies in response to recent changes made by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) to its Title VI requirements (http://www.fta.dot.gov/documents/FTA_Title_VI_FINAL.pdf). The draft Policy will be presented at this public meeting. We want to ensure that our customers and stakeholders are aware of our draft Policies and have the opportunity to provide comment.
