March 28 SFMTA Board of Directors Public Hearing on TEP CEQA EIR Approval, Muni Service Changes, & Parking/Traffic Proposals
On March 14, there will be a hearing in front of the SFMTA Board of Directors about Transit Effectiveness Project (TEP) California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) approval, service change proposals, and fast-tracked capital improvement proposals. The hearing will include a presentation to the Board of the final TEP EIR approval, SFMTA's recommended Muni service and route change proposals, and seven fast-tracked capital improvement proposals, as a part of the TEP. The Board will consider the proposals and is expected to make a formal decision about the proposals at this meeting. Please attend the hearing to learn more and provide input to the Board about proposed service and route changes and fast-tracked capital improvements.

N, T, 1, 2, 5, 8X/AX/BX, 9, 9L, 10, 14L, 14X, 17, 21, 22, 24, 28, 28L, 29, 30, 30X, 31, 35, 37, 38, 38L, 41, 43, 44, 47, 52, 54, AND 71/71L TRANSIT ROUTES; DECREASING FREQUENCY ON THE F (DURING THE AM PEAK PERIOD), 2 (WEST OF PRESIDIO DURING PEAK HOURS ONLY), 3, 6, 8X (NORTH OF BROADWAY MIDDAY), AND 48 ROUTES (WEST OF DIAMOND STREET & EAST OF CONNECTICUT STREET ONLY); EXPANDING THE HOURS OF OPERATION ON THE 2 AND 10 ROUTES; ADDING NEW E EMBARCADERO AND 11 DOWNTOWN CONNECTOR TRANSIT ROUTES; MAKING PERMANENT 5L FULTON LIMITED SERVICE, ADDING SUNDAY SERVICE ON THE 38L GEARY LIMITED, AND ADDING ALL DAY LIMITED SERVICE ON THE 28L 19TH AVENUE LIMITED AND 71L HAIGHT/NORIEGA LIMITED TRANSIT ROUTES; REALIGNING TRANSIT ROUTES (INCLUDING IN SOME CASES ELIMINATING SEGMENTS OF SERVICE) FOR THE 2, 8X, 10, 16X, 17, 18, 22, 28, 28L, 29, 33, 35, 43, 47, 48, 52, AND 76; AND ELIMINATING THE 12 FOLSOM ROUTE (NOTE ALL SEGMENTS OF THE 12 WOULD BE SERVED BY OTHER TRANSIT ROUTES). The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency Board of Directors will hold a public hearing on March 28, 2014. At the hearing, the SFMTA Board will decide on changes to Municipal Railway operating schedule and routes. This hearing will be held at City Hall, #1 Dr. Carlton B.
