PG&E Gas Line Work

Neighborhoods Affected
Route(s) Affected

Starting Monday, May 20th for about 3 months, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) will be conducting gas line work along Taraval Street from 14th to 22nd Avenue. Specific locations are as follows:

  • Taraval Street between 15th and 18th Avenue
  • Ulloa Street between Funston and 14th Avenue
  • Taraval Street between 21st and 22nd Avenue

This work will also include safety inspections of the gas pipes in the area. Notices were disseminated by PG&E to affected residents and businesses along the corridor on Friday, April 12th. This necessary work is being completed in preparation of the Taraval Improvement Project construction that will take place along the Inner Sunset Taraval corridor next year in 2020.

What to Expect

Temporary parking restrictions will be enforced in the construction areas. "No Parking" signs will be posted in the affected areas at least 72 hours in advance. Traffic will be rerouted around work areas and there may be temporary service interruptions while new lines are connected. Driveway access may be affected, but PG&E on site crews can provide access within a few minutes of your request.

Muni L Taraval service will run uninterrupted.
