Muni’s Potrero Yard Modernization Project is replacing an obsolete, century-old bus yard at 2500 Mariposa Street with a modern, three-story bus maintenance and storage facility. Construction has now begun and will run through 2030. Construction is led by Webcor.
Urban Forestry Scope:
The current project site includes a two-level bus facility that sites on one city block, bounded by 17th Street, Hampshire Street, Mariposa Street and Bryant Street. There are no trees located within the property. There are trees located within the public right of way along three of the four bounding streets.
