Trans March

Friday, June 23, 2017 - 6:00pm to 9:00pm

The 14th Annual Trans March will take place on Friday, June 23, 2017. With an expected 7,000 attendees, the San Francisco Trans March is the nation's largest transgender pride event and one of the largest in the world. 

Following a celebration in Dolores Park, the march will travel up Dolores Street to Market Street then on to Taylor Street. The march will end at Turk & Taylor, the location of the historic Compton’s Cafeteria Riot in 1966 and the center of the coming Compton’s Cultural District, the first transgender cultural district in the country. Muni services will not be rerouted for this event, but several lines and routes may experience delays as the march passes by.

The following lines and routes may experience delays from 6 to 9 p.m.:

    • The historic streetcar will be temporary replaced with a motorcoach bus.
