Valencia Bikeway Improvements - November 2022 Project Update

Thank you so much for your continued interest and engagement in the Valencia Bikeway Improvements effort.  

A lot has happened since the mid-Valencia pilot project kicked off this summer! To cover it all, the project team compiled a summary outlining various outreach efforts and feedback gathered from the public, updated the FAQs to respond to common questions and comments received during the open house period, and created a document that discusses why other design concepts are not feasible as a near-term pilot (but may be possible as a long-term project).

Next steps: The project team has pushed back the project’s approval schedule in order to update the pilot design to address the feedback received during the project's outreach processes. The final pilot proposal will be heard at a joint Public Hearing and SFMTA Board of Directors meeting, which is now anticipated in spring 2023.
