E Embarcadero Historic Streetcar Line
On August 1, 2015, the SFMTA launched a new historic streetcar line along the length of the Embarcadero to directly connect customers with a single-seat ride from AT&T Park and the Caltrain Station to Fisherman’s Wharf and the northeast waterfront. The service, known as the E Embarcadero, operates seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
No upcoming meetings have been posted
The E Embarcadero line operates double-end streetcars along the waterfront every 15 minutes between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m, seven days a week. The historic streetcar line makes the same stops as the N Judah and T Third between Caltrain and Folsom St, and shares the existing F Market stops from the Ferry Building to Fisherman's Wharf.
The new E line is part of the Muni Forward program and is one component of a 10% service increase approved by the SFMTA Board of Directors in March 2014.

New E Embarcadero Route
Five double-end “PCC” (Presidents’ Conference Committee) type streamliner streetcars will operate at any one time during service hours. Muni currently has seven PCC's operational, all built in 1948, serving their entire careers in San Francisco. Like the other PCC streetcars, some are painted in tribute to look like PCCs operated in other cities around the world. Additionally, there are four older, non-streamlined streetcars currently operational, which may also be used on the E-line.
