Purpose

Muni cost per revenue hour measures the agency's ability to control costs relative to service hours delivered.

Definition

Muni cost per revenue hour is calculated by dividing all expenses by the total number of vehicle revenue hours and is reported system-wide.

Methodology

sum ([expense]) ÷ sum ([vehicle revenue hours])

Target

Maintain FY17 baseline with inflation and labor cost indexing ($229.21)
