Post Incident Summaries August 2013

Saturday, August 31

• From 6:09 to 6:51 p.m., the southbound F Market and Wharves Line was blocked at Beach and Jones streets by a Muni involved accident. Northbound F streetcars switched back at Pier 39. 

Thursday, August 29

• From 8:33 to 9:11 a.m., the 5 Fulton Route was delayed in both directions between Fulton Street and Eighth Avenue to La Playa and Cabrillo streets by overhead power issues. Bus shuttles supplemented service between Sixth Avenue and Fulton Street to La Playa and Cabrillo streets.

Tuesday, August 27

• From 6:27 to 7:05 a.m., the westbound 48 Quintara/24th street route was blocked by a tree that fell on the street.  A reroute was put into place but no stops were missed.

Monday, August 26

• From 7:26 to 9:02 p.m., the J Church Line was delayed on Church Street between 21st and 22nd streets due to a Muni involved accident. Southbound J trains switched back at 16th and Church streets, while northbound J trains switched back at Church and Day streets. Bus shuttles provided service on Church Street between Duboce Avenue and 30th Street.
• From 10:10 a.m. through the end of service, the Powell Cable Car Line was down due to a cable issue. Bus shuttles supplemented service on Powell Street between Ellis and Washington Streets.

Sunday, August 25

• From 5:20 to 5:50 p.m., the eastbound L Taraval Line was delayed at Wawona Street and 46th Avenue due to a disabled train. Westbound L trains switched back at Taraval Street and Sunset Boulevard. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.

Friday, August 23

• From 11:18 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Saturday, the 22 Fillmore Route was blocked at Fillmore Street between Chestnut and Lombard streets in both directions due to police activity. Northbound 22 coaches switched back at Fillmore and Union streets. Bus shuttles supplemented route service.

Thursday, August 22

• From 6:32 to 7:48 a.m., the westbound 31 Balboa Route was blocked at Turk and Mason streets due to police activity in the area.  Westbound 31 coaches were rerouted over the 5 Fulton Route.  
• From 12:06 to 12:40 a.m., the southbound T Third Line was blocked at Bayshore Boulevard and Hester Avenue by a disabled automobile on the trackway. Southbound T trains switched back at Third Street and Armstrong Avenue. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.   

Tuesday, August 20

• From 8:49 to 10:00 a.m., the L Taraval Line was delayed at Wawona Street and 46th Avenue due to a safety check.  Eastbound L trains were sent over the M Oceanview Line.  Bus shuttles supplemented service from West Portal to Balboa Park.

Sunday, August 18

• From 10:17 a.m. to 12:10 p.m., the T Third Line was blocked in both directions at Third Street and Jamestown Avenue by a non Muni accident. Southbound T trains switched back at Third Street and Armstrong Avenue. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.
• From 1:16 to 2:41 a.m., the northbound 22 Fillmore Route was delayed at Steiner and Vallejo streets due to an overhead wire issue. Northbound 22 coaches were switched back at Jackson and Webster streets. Bus shuttle supplemented route service.

Saturday, August 17

• From 1:33 to 2:05 p.m., the eastbound N Judah Line was delayed at Fourth Avenue and Irivng Street due to a train with a mechanical issue.

Friday, August 16

• From 7:13 to 7:49 p.m., the westbound L Taraval Line was delayed at Taraval Street and 30th Avenue due to a disabled train. Westbound L trains switched back at Taraval Street and 22nd Avenue. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.
• From 6:40 to 7:35 p.m., the M Oceanview Line was blocked in both direction at Broad Street and Capitol Avenue by fire department activity. Southbound M trains switched back at San Francisco State University; while northbound M trains were routed onto the K Ingleside Line from Balboa Park. Bus shuttles supplemented service between San Francisco State and Balboa Park.
• From 1:45 to 2:25 p.m., the northbound M Oceanview Line was blocked at 19th Avenue and Crespi Drive by a non Muni accident. Southbound M trains switched back at San Francisco State University; while northbound M trains were routed onto the K Ingleside Line from Balboa Park. Bus shuttles supplemented service between San Francisco State and Balboa Park.

Thursday, August 15

• From 6:30 to 7:09 p.m., the westbound N Judah Line was delayed at Judah Street and 40th Avenue by a medical emergency. Westbound N trains switched back at Judah Street and Sunset Boulevard. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.
• From 11:26 a.m. to 12:03 p.m., the 54 Felton Route was routed around the area of Bridgeview Drive and Topeka Avenue in both directions due to police activity.

Wednesday, August 14

• From 7:08 to 8:57 a.m., the inbound 12 Folsom/Pacific Route was blocked at Folsom and Sixth streets by a non-Muni accident.  Inbound coaches were routed around the affected area.
• From 6:49 to 7:38 a.m., the inbound 3 Jackson Route was blocked by a fallen tree limb.  Coaches were routed around the affected area.       

Tuesday, August 13

• From 1:07 to 1:42 p.m., the California Cable Car Line was down due to police activity on California and Leavenworth streets. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.
• From 10:20 to 11:35 a.m., the 5 Fulton Reoute was delayed at Fulton Street and 47th Avenue due to a non-Muni accident blocking.  Inbound 5-Fulton buses were rerouted inbound to outbound from 46th Avenue to Cabrillo Street. 
• From 7:47 to 9:36 a.m., the N Judah Line was delayed at experienced at King and 6th streets due to a pantograph issue.           

Wednesday, August 7

• From 10:20 to 10:56 p.m., the California Cable Car Line was down due to a non Muni accident. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.
• From 4:40 to 6:23 a.m., the J Church Line was blocked at San Jose Ave and Randall Street due to a fallen tree on the tracks.  Northbound J trains switched back at Church and Day streets. Bus shuttles supplemented service from Day Street to Balboa Park.   
• From 12:04 to 1:02 a.m., the westbound L Taraval was blocked at 15th Aveune and Taraval Street by a disabled automobile on the trackway. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.

Monday, August 5

• From 7:20 to 9:07 p.m., the 48 Quintara-24th Street Route was routed around the area of 24th Street between Shotwell Street and South Van Ness Avenue in both directions due to a non Muni accident.

Thursday, August 1

• From 11:54 a.m. to 12:35 p.m., the N Judah Line was blocked at Carl and Willard streets due to fire department activity. Westbound N trains switched back at Duboce Avenue and Fillmore Street; while eastbound N trains switched back at Carl Street and Hillway Avenue. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.
