Post Incident Summaries - October 2017

Sunday, October 29

• From 12:57 to 3:09 p.m., due to police activity at Third Street and Palou Avenue, the 23 Monterey, 24 Divisadero, 44 O'Shaughnessy, and 54 Felton routes were routed around that area in both directions while the southbound T Third Line was switched back at Third Street and Evans Avenue. Bus shuttles supported T Third Line service.

Friday, October 27

• From 7:29 to 10:12 p.m., the 22 Fillmore Route was routed around Fillmore Street between Turk Street and Golden Gate Avenue due to police activity.
• From 8:28 to 9:07 a.m., the eastbound F Market and Wharves Line was delayed on Market Street between Fourth and Grant streets by a stalled streetcar. Eastbound F streetcars were switched back at Market and 11th streets while southbound F streetcars were switched back at the Ferry Building.

Thursday, October 26

• From 7:48 to 8:35 p.m., the F Market and Wharves Line was blocked at Market and Guerrero streets in both directions by a non Muni collision. Westbound F streetcars switched back at Market and 11th streets. Bus shuttles supported line service.

Wednesday, October 25

• From 8:59 to 9:50 a.m., the eastbound 7 Haight/Noriega Route was routed around Lincoln Way and Kezar Drive due to a non Muni collision.

Tuesday, October 24

• From 8:26 to 9:29 a.m., the northbound F Market and Wharves Line was delayed at Jefferson and Powell streets by a stalled streetcar. Northbound F streetcars were switched back at Pier 39. Bus shuttle supported line service.

Monday, October 23

• From 1:23 to the end of service, the westbound L Taraval Line was delayed on Taraval Street and 46th Avenue by an illegally parked auto on the trackway.

Saturday, October 21

• From 5:12 to 5:56 p.m., the southbound M Ocean View Line was blocked at Broad Street and Plymouth Avenue by fire department activity.  Southbound M trains switched back at 19th and Holloway avenues. Bus shuttles supported service.
• From 11:54 to 2:43 p.m., the eastbound F Market and Wharves Line was delayed at Market Street and Van Ness Avenue due to an overhead wire issue.  Westbound F streetcars switched back at Market and 11th streets.

Wednesday, October 18

• From 12:20 to 1:48 a.m., the 29 Sunset Route was rerouted around Persia Avenue and Vienna Street in both directions due to fire department activity.

Tuesday, October 17

• From 10:52 to 11:26 p.m., the 22 Fillmore, 33 Ashbury/18th Street, and 55 16th Street routes were routed around 16th and Shotwell streets in both directions due to fire department activity.

Monday, October 16

• From 8:02 to 9:12 p.m., the westbound F Market and Wharves Line was blocked at Market and Octavia streets by a disabled tour bus. Southbound F streetcars switched back at the Ferry Building. Bus shuttles supported line service.
• From 2:53 to 3:54 p.m., the M Ocean View Line was blocked at Broad Street and Capitol Avenue by a non Muni collision. Southbound M trains switched back at 19th and Holloway avenues. Bus shuttles supported line service.

Saturday, October 14

• From 7:07 to 7:55 p.m., the southbound M Oceanview Line was blocked at 19th Avenue and Winston Drive by a disabled automobile.
• From 4:33 to 5:36 p.m., the northbound M Oceanview Line was delayed at Right of Way and Eucalyptus Drive due to an overhead wire issue. Northbound M trains were routed over the K Ingleside Line. Bus shuttles supported line service 
• From 2:55 to 3:36 p.m., the southbound E Embarcadeo and F Market and Wharves lines were delayed at Jones and Beach streets due to a stalled streetcar.  E and F streetcars switched back at Pier 39.
• From 10:51 to 11:33 a.m., the Muni Metro subway experienced slow moving service in both directions near Embarcadero Station due to a system issue. Bus shuttles support Metro service.

Thursday, October 12

• From 6:40 to 7:16 p.m., the northbound Powell Hyde Cable Car Line was blocked at California and Powell streets by a disabled tourist bus.  Shuttles supported service.

Wednesday, October 11

• From 5:09 to 7:03 a.m., the eastbound 2 Clement and 3 Jackson routes were blocked at Post and Larkin streets by a non Muni collision. Eastbound 3 coaches switched back at Fillmore and Sutter streets while eastbound 2 coaches were routed around the area. Bus shuttles supported route service.

Tuesday, October 10

• From 11:33 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., the K Ingleside Line was blocked in both directions at Ocean Avenue and Lee Street due to an automobile on the track way. K trains were routed over the M Ocean View Line in both directions. Bus shuttles provided K line service.

Monday, October 9

• From 7:42 to 8:20 p.m., the westbound 1 California Route was routed around California Street between Divisadero and Baker streets due to fire department activity.
• From 2:20 to 2:54 p.m., the westbound F Market and Wharves Line was delayed at Market and Fourth streets due to a stalled streetcar.
• From 3:10 to 5:33 a.m., the K Ingleside Line was delayed in both directions on Ocean Avenue and Victoria Street due to a fallen tree on the overhead wire . K trains were routed over the M Oceanview Line in both directions. Bus shuttles supported line service.

Friday, October 6

• From 10:27 to 11:24 p.m., both directions of the L Taraval Line were blocked at Taraval Street and 22nd Avenue by fire department activity.  Westbound L trains switched back at Ulloa Street and West Portal Avenue. Bus shuttles supported service.

Thursday, October 5

• From 4:16 to 4:48 p.m., the Powell Hyde Cable Car Line was down due to a cable issue.
• From 6:29 to 8:00 a.m., the M Oceanview Line was blocked in both directions on 19th Avenue between Randolph and Byxbee streets due to an overhead wire issue. M trains routed over the K Ingleside Line in both directions. Bus shuttles provided line service.

Wednesday, October 4

• From 4:29 p.m. through the end of service, due to a subway system issue between Embarcadero Station and Ferry Portal, Muni Metro service experienced significant inbound and outbound service delays.
• From 2:59 to 3:40 p.m., the westbound N Judah Line was delayed at Judah Street and 18th Avenue by a Muni involved collision. Westbound N trains switched back at Carl Street and Hillway Avenue. Bus shuttles supported line service.
• From 9:58 to 10:32 a.m., the southbound 30 Stockton and 45 Union/Stockton routes were blocked at Sutter and Mason streets by fire department activity.
• From 6:18 to 7:47 a.m., the southbound 43 Masonic Route was delayed at Presidio Avenue and Sutter Street due to an overhead line issue.

Tuesday, October 3

• From 4:03 to 4:57 p.m., the westbound N Judah was delayed at Judah Street and 20th Avenue due to a Muni involved collision. Westbound N trains switched back at Carl Street and Hillway Avenue. Bus shuttles supported line service.
• From 3:00 to 4:25 p.m., the southbound F Market and Wharves and E Embarcadero lines were delayed at Beach and Jones streets due to a stalled streetcar. Northbound F and E streetcars switched back at Pier 39.
