Travel Decision Survey 2019

The SFMTA's biennial Travel Decision Survey is used to evaluate Strategic Plan Objective 2.2: Sustainable Mode Share. The SFMTA Strategic Plan sets the target at 80% trips by sustainable mode, such as walking, biking, transit, as well as the modes that complement their use by 2030. Mode share is a measure of the percentage of travelers using a particular type of transportation and is an indicator measuring how well San Franciscans can access their daily needs.
