The Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Half Marathon & 5K will begin at 8 a.m. in Golden Gate Park with racers forming up at as early as 6:30 a.m. Streets will be closed and Muni will reroute several lines that run through the park. Read below for more information.

Street Closures

The following streets will be closed beginning as early as 4 a.m.:

  • Oak Street between Stanyan and Broderick streets
  • Fell Street between Stanyan and Broderick streets
  • Baker Street between Hayes and Page streets
  • Masonic Street between Hayes and Page streets
  • Stanyan Street between Hayes and Page streets
  • Intersections closed: Masonic, Baker and Stanyan streets at Oak and Fell streets

Note: To go north or south though Golden Gate Park, use Crossover Drive.

Muni Reroutes

These routes will be rerouted starting at different times. Service will return to normal by 12 p.m.

43 Masonic 7 a.m. Reroute will be along Haight, Divisadero and Hayes.
The stops before the reroute are Haight & Clayton and Masonic & Hayes.
44 O’Shaughnessy 5 a.m. Reroute will be along Lincoln, Crossover and Fulton.
Nearest stops to Golden Gate Park are 9th Ave & Lincoln Way and 8th Ave & Fulton
