Muni Service Changes Starting Saturday, February 19, 2022
Starting Saturday, February 19, 2022, Muni will extend J Church service to Embarcadero Station and extend subway service hours on Sunday to end at 12 midnight.
Route pages will be updated on Friday. Other data, including schedule information, NextMuni predictions and Live Map data will be updated on Saturday.
J Church Extension
The J Church will resume operations in the Market Street Subway, serving Van Ness, Civic Center, Powell, Montgomery and Embarcadero stations.
In the early mornings (5 to 6 a.m. on weekdays, 5 to 8 a.m. on weekends), the J Church will operate at the street level only, between Balboa Park and Duboce.
Subway Hours Extension on Sundays
On Sundays, hours are extended to 12 midnight and will now match Saturday service hours. See the table below for detailed information on last trips by line.
