Starting Saturday, May 15, 2021, Muni is restoring service to the F, N and KT rail lines and introducing the new 36/52 Special bus route. Please read below for summaries about each route. Route pages will be updated on the first day of service, including schedule information, NextMuni predictions and Live Map data.

F Market & Wharves

From 11am to 7pm daily, the F Market & Wharves historic streetcar will resume its full route between Fisherman's Wharf and the Castro.

Service will be every 12 minutes.

N Judah

On weekdays from 6am to 9pm and weekends from 8am to 9pm, the N Judah will resume its full route between Ocean Beach and Caltrain via Downtown.

Service will be every 10 minutes on weekdays and every 12 minutes on weekends.

KT: K Ingleside/T Third Street

On weekdays from 6am to 9pm and weekends from 8am to 9pm, the KT will resume its full interlined route between Balboa Park and Sunnydale via Downtown.

Service will be every 10 minutes on weekdays and every 12 minutes on weekends.

Bus Service Before and After Subway Hours

K Ingleside Bus customers:

  • On weekdays from 5am to 6am, take 91 Owl to West Portal Station and transfer to L Bus for service to Downtown
  • On weekends from 5am to 8am, K Bus operates between Balboa Park and the Ferry Plaza
  • Every night from 9pm to 10pm, K Bus operates between Balboa Park and West Portal Station; transfer to L Bus for service to Downtown

The T Third Bus operates between Visitacion Valley and the Ferry Plaza before and after subway hours:

  • On weekdays from 5am to 6am
  • On weekends from 5am to 8am
  • Every night from 9pm to 10pm

36/52 Special

The 36/52 Special operates in two loops around Glen Canyon Park. Both loops start and end at Forest Hill Station. The clockwise loop serves Twin Peaks. Both loops serve stops on Myra Way.

  • Every day, from 8am to 10am, the clockwise loop runs every hour
  • Every day, from 10am to 6pm, both loops run every 30 minutes
  • Every evening, from 6pm to 8pm, the clockwise loop runs every hour
