• Continuation of waterline work is planned for:
  • Starting September 18 between 37th Avenue and Sunset Boulevard
  • September 14-18 between 39th and 38th Avenue
  • September 12 and September 14-16 between 40th and 39th Avenue
  • September 12 and September 15-16 between 46th and 45th Avenue
  • September 12 and September 14-18 between 45th and 44th Avenue
  • September 14-18 between 44th and 43rd Avenue
  • September 16-18 between 42nd and 41st Avenue
  • September 14-18 between 48th and 46th Avenue
• Electrical conduit work for traffic signal, streetlights, and etc. is planned for:
  • September 14-18 between 40th and 37th Avenue
• Track replacement work is planned for: 
  • Starting September 17 between 40th Avenue and Sunset Boulevard
• Installation of Muni overhead contact system (OCS) pole is planned for:
  • September 14 between 40th and 38th Avenue
• Construction of replacement Muni overhead contact system (OCS) pole's foundation is planned for: 
  • September 14-16 between 43rd and 40th Avenue 
  • September 16-17 at the southeast corner of 46th Avenue and Wawona
  • Starting September 18 at the northeast corner of 46th Avenue and Wawona
  • September 16-18 at the northeast corner of 47th Avenue and Wawona
• Removal of existing Muni overhead contact system (OCS) is planned for:
  • September 14-15 between 46th and 48th Avenue on Taraval Street

Excavation requires jackhammering of the pavement. Dust control measures will be in place to prevent dust kick up from the work.

Heavy vibrations from the shoring and sheet piling work is expected for open trench work.

• Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m.; Saturday to Sunday 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m.

Some parking will be temporarily restricted in construction zones and traffic lanes will be modified during active work.

For track replacement work, traffic will be detoured at the intersections of 38th, 39th, and 40th Avenue at all times of the day until track replacement work along this 3 block segment is complete. During active construction hours, parking on both sides of the blocks will be temporarily restricted to give the crew the safety clearance they need to demo and replace the aged tracks in the center of the road and allow eastbound/westbound vehicular traffic. Parking will be returned at the end of each work day along the impacted blocks.
