This Weekend: Uncorked Wine Festival, Sunset Flea and a Charity 5K Run

Events: This weekend's many activities take place at locations all across the city, from Fisherman's Wharf in the north to Lake Merced in the south. See our featured events below.

Uncorked Wine Festival

Saturday, 12 to 5 p.m.
Ghirardelli Square

Taste, learn about, and experience wine from throughout Northern California this Saturday at the 12th Annual Uncorked Wine Festival. In partnership with local non-profit organization Strides for Life, the festival will feature activities throughout the courtyards of Ghirardelli Square.

How to Get There on Muni: The 19 Polk, 28 19th Avenue, 30 Stockton, 47 Van Ness and 49 Van Ness-Mission routes will take riders close to the festivities.

Muni service note: The 19 will see reroutes and possible delays while the 28, 30, 47 and 49 may see increased ridership and possible delays.

Girls on the Run 5k

Sunday, 8 to 11:30 a.m.
Lake Merced

The Girls on the Run 5k is a family-friendly event taking place this year at Lake Merced, which features DJ music, a photo booth, face painting and other fun activities. The activities kick off at 9 a.m. with a Zumba warm-up prior to the run at 9:30 a.m. All proceeds from the event benefit Girls on the Run of the Bay Area.

How to Get There on Muni: The 18 46th Avenue, 29 Sunset and 57 Parkmerced routes will take riders to the event.

Muni service note: The 18, 29 and 57 will see reroutes and possible delays.

Inner Sunset Flea Market

Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Inner Sunset District

The Inner Sunset Park Neighbors kicks off the first of six monthly Inner Sunset Flea Markets this weekend. Peruse market vendors, play games, enjoy a variety of food and drink and much more this Sunday on Irving Street between 9th and 10th avenues.

How to Get There on Muni: The N Judah Line, 6 Haight/Parnassus, 7 Haight/Noriega, 43 Masonic, 44 O’Shaughnessy and 66 Quintara routes will take riders close to the event.

Muni service note: The N Judah, 6, 7, 43, 44 and 66 may see increased ridership and possible delays.

Van Ness Construction Reminder

All left turn lanes on Van Ness Avenue have been removed with the exceptions of those at Broadway (southbound), Lombard Street (northbound) and temporarily at Hayes Street (northbound).

Van Ness traffic lanes have been reduced from three to two on these segments:

Northbound from Post to Filbert Street
Southbound from Filbert to Washington Street
