The SFMTA is leading a community planning process in the Excelsior with the goal of creating safer and calmer neighborhood streets. Please join us at an open house to learn about the project and provide your input on how we can prioritize traffic calming and pedestrian safety improvements such as speed humps, new high visibility crosswalks, painted safety zones and more on a neighborhood street near you! Through this process, the project team will also explore potential residential parking solutions for the neighborhood. The attached map (please see the flyer below) provides an overview of where we hope to begin to get your input on safety improvements. These proposed locations are based off of what we’ve heard so far from numerous conversations with community groups, residents and stakeholders. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you there!

El SFMTA está liderando actualmente un proceso de planificación comunitaria en el Excelsior con el objetivo de crear calles residenciales más seguras y cómodas por la gente. Por favor únase a nosotros para conocer el proyecto y dar su opinión cómo podemos priorizar el tráfico y la seguridad de los peatones en su vecindario. A través de este proceso, el proyecto también procurará soluciones al estacionamiento residencial para este vecindario.
