Finance & Administration Committee (FAC)
The Finance and Administration Committee (FAC) is an ad hoc committee made up of members of the Citizens' Advisory Council (CAC). They usually meet heavily during the former half of a budget year, and as needed during the latter half of a budget year and non-budget years. When they do meet (usually on the third Wednesday of the month), they hear presentations from SFMTA staff in regards to Finance and Administration within the SFMTA. They then take back recommendations to the full CAC meetings on those matters. Each member of the committee is appointed by the Chairman of the Citizens' Advisory Council.
Meetings of the FAC, when scheduled, are held at 3:30 p.m. at One South Van Ness Ave on the 7th floor. Meetings are open to the public. At least 72 hours before a meeting, all materials for the upcoming meeting are available online and at the front desk of the 7th floor.
