Building Progress Program Funding

The SFMTA can tap into several funding channels in order to fix and deliver upgrades and renovations through the Building Progress Program. 

These include:

• SFMTA FY 2019 to 2023 Capital Improvement Program (CIP)

• Proposition B General Fund set aside revenue

• Development impact fee revenues 

• Transportation GO Bond funds

• Proposition K Transportation Sales Tax funds designated for facility improvements

• Senate Bill 1 - State of Good Repair Funds

• Regional Measure 3 funds 

• Proposition D, Ride-Share Business Tax revenues

• Federal Transit Administration - Bus and Bus Facilities Infrastructure Investment Program

• Other revenue streams (i.e. SFMTA development and new Proposition K Sales Tax Expenditure Plan)
