Join the Geary Community Advisory Committee

October 2022 Update: The vacant seat has been filled. However, we are keeping the application window open in the event of future vacancies between now and completion of the project. Download the Geary CAC membership packet  for more information and to apply. 

The Geary Boulevard Improvement Project team is seeking community members for the Geary Community Advisory Committee (CAC). The Geary CAC advises SFMTA staff on the design and delivery of transit and safety improvements along Geary Boulevard as a part of the Geary Rapid and Geary Boulevard Improvement projects.  

There is currently one vacancy on the Geary CAC. In addition to using applications to fill this vacancy, we will keep applications on file to fill future vacancies that may occur until completion of Geary Boulevard Improvement project construction. People who live, work, visit or travel on Geary are encouraged to apply. Students in high school or college who live or go to school along the corridor are particularly encouraged to apply as this affiliation is not represented among current Geary CAC members. 

The Geary CAC meets quarterly, on the second Wednesday of every third month, to provide community guidance from project design through construction, and to make the project teams aware of community priorities and concerns.  Download the Geary CAC membership packet for more information and to apply.
