L Taraval Open House for Trees, Art and Designs
Join us to Vote on Trees, Art and Designs!
After years of community engagement during the planning process for important safety and infrastructure upgrades along the L Taraval, we are seeking feedback on some of the visual design elements. Specifically, we want your input on trees, murals, custom crosswalks, wayfinding ideas and landscaping that are proposed to be a part of the larger L Taraval Improvement Project.
We are teaming up with Public Works to host an Open House where you can see the design ideas and share feedback with an interactive survey. Staff will be on hand to answer questions and guide you through the process.

The goal of the L Taraval Improvement Project is to enhance safety and improve transit along the entire Taraval corridor. Once completed, Taraval will boast new transit priority traffic signals, bulbouts to make pedestrian crossing safer, new trees and landscaping, enhanced crosswalks, safety boarding islands, increased accessibility, new Muni rails, public art, and much-needed upgrades to water and sewer lines.
