Train Service

4/11/2022              S Shuttle from West Portal to 21st Ave. has been providing temporary service to support the L bus line.

                              Discontinued

What to Expect:

New sewer and water lines

  • During excavation and installation, some driveways may be temporarily inaccessible
  • Excavation requires jackhammering of the pavement. Dust control measures will be in place to prevent dust kick up from the work
  • Heavy vibrations from the shoring and sheet piling work is expected for open trench work

Vehicle traffic

  • Temporary lane closures east of intersection where work will be performed

East and west side of 15th Ave. between Taraval and Ulloa streets

  • Posted no parking signs for the duration of work
  • Access may be delayed accessing residence, crews will allow safe access during construction
  • Sidewalk open for trenchwork

Temporary staging and construction areas

  • Posting of no parking signs along the staging areas
  • Posting of no parking signs in active construction areas

Time of Work:

Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. Canceled

No work on  Saturday and Sunday

Traffic Impacts:

  • Some parking will be temporarily restricted in construction zones
  • Traffic lanes will be modified during active work
  • There will be dedicated flagger(s) to direct traffic and pedestrians
  • Temporarily close lane at intersections with detours
