Upcoming Public Hearing on 48 Quintara-24th Street Route

Approvals for parts of the current route of the 48 Quintara-24th Street through the Dogpatch will be considered at an SFMTA public hearing on Friday, June 16. 

In April, the SFMTA implemented a pilot project for the 48 Quintara-24th Street that routed it through the Dogpatch neighborhood. This pilot moved the bus from its previous routing on Tennessee Street based on community feedback. This hearing will consider approving the new bus stops, bus zones and loading zones that the 48 Quintara-24th Street has been using in its pilot route. These changes would allow the 48 Quintara-24th Street to continue serving the new routing on 22nd , Illinois, 23rd and Indiana streets.  

You can provide public comment on these proposed changes (items #9a-9d) in two ways: 

  • Attend the virtual meeting on Friday, June 16 at 10 a.m. and give your comment by phone. Find the meeting agenda and dial-in details on the June 16 meeting page.  

  • Submit written comments before the meeting by email to Sustainable.Streets@SFMTA.com with “Public Hearing” in the subject line or by mail to SFMTA, 1 South Van Ness, 7th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103.
