Objective Objective 4.2: Create a collaborative and innovative work environment
Metric Employee rating: Overall employee satisfaction; scale of 1 (low) to 5 (high)
Purpose To create a better workplace through maintaining a high level of employee satisfaction.
Definition Employee rating on a 1 to 5 scale of overall satisfaction with work environment.
Methodology Results from the annual employee survey are reported as an average score on a 1 to 5 scale for the following question:

"What is your overall satisfaction as an SFMTA employee?"

Responses are weighted to reflect different response rates from employees in each SFMTA division.

Target Achieve 0.5 point improvement over baseline (based on FY13 performance)
