The Women's March San Francisco will take place on Saturday, January 19, 2019. Participants will begin gathering at Civic Center Plaza at 11 a.m.; they will march down Market Street toward The Embarcadero starting at 1 p.m. Muni will reroute buses that serve or cross Market Street. Read below for more information which routes will be impacted, when they will be impacted and where board during the reroute.

Getting to Civic Center

The easiest way to get to Civic Center Plaza is via the Market Street Subway. The 30/45 SoMa Shuttle will also operate in a loop between the Caltrain Station and Mission Street until the march is over.

Muni Impact Summary

Most routes will switchback--changing from inbound to outbound--before they reach Market Street. Some routes will operate on Mission Street instead. Most routes that cross Market Street will be rerouted around the event areas. The 30/45 SoMa Shuttle will also operate in a loop between the Caltrain Station and Mission Street until the march is over. Reroutes start at different times, but all service will return to normal once Market Street is clear.
