Equitable Services & Systems Section

Equitable Services & Systems is the unit within the Office of Racial Equity & Belonging Section that leads cross-agency projects to coordinate racial and social equity efforts in service delivery, planning and stakeholder engagement. The Equitable Services & Systems team administers processes and projects to understand inequities and underinvestments caused by the transportation sector and related planning efforts. Equitable Services & Systems leads the development and implementation of culturally-responsive strategies to reverse inequities in Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, Pacific Islander and other historically marginalized communities.

Equitable Services is organized in three sections:
